Adventure Coast
Adventure Coast invites children and their parents to explore ocean environments. Their exploration is recorded on a website where they are able to build profiles and share their adventures. Once families have created a profile with Adventure Coast they receive an Adventure Passport outlining different subjects for exploration. They also receive badges to stick into their passport when they have completed an adventure, and a customized poster outlining marine environments in their community.
Adventure Coast puts an emphasis on the adventure that a parent and child can have learning together.
This self directed project involved an intensive process of design research, analyses, form making and prototype testing.
